February Wrap-Up: Choosing Me & Embracing the Unexpected

Whew, February flew by, didn’t it? This month was all about stepping out of my comfort zone, making memories, and setting myself up for success. Even though I haven’t officially launched my podcast yet (more on that in a sec!), I’ve been laying the groundwork, pushing myself socially, and making moves toward financial freedom.

Podcast Progress: Slow & Steady

Okay, confession time: I still haven’t recorded my first episode. But! I have been writing out ideas and drafting a couple of episodes, which honestly feels like a huge win. Creativity doesn’t always happen on demand, and I want this podcast to be something I’m proud of. So, even though it’s not out yet, it’s definitely happening. Stay tuned!

Out of My Comfort Zone & Loving It

If there’s one thing I’ve learned this month, it’s that saying yes to new experiences makes life way more exciting. I hosted my first-ever Galentine’s Day party for my coworkers and let me tell you—it was a blast. We had snacks, drinks, and so many laughs, and it reminded me how much I love celebrating the amazing women in my life.

And because February was all about doing things I wouldn’t normally do, I also went to a Magic Hunk show—yes, that kind of show. 😏 Let’s just say it was...an experience. A fun, wild, slightly chaotic experience, but an experience nonetheless!

Securing the Bag: Second Job, Here I Come

Big news: I’m starting a second job! Why? Because I’m on a mission to save up and get my own place by August. It’s going to be a grind, but I know future me will thank me for putting in the work now. Financial independence has been a huge goal of mine, and I’m finally taking the steps to make it happen.

Looking Ahead: 2025 is My Year

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: this year is all about choosing me. From prioritizing my goals to putting myself in new (and sometimes uncomfortable) situations, I feel like I’m finally stepping into the life I’ve always wanted. And honestly? I’m so proud of myself.

I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store—more podcast progress, more adventures, and hopefully, the keys to my own place. If February was any indication, 2025 is going to be amazing.
